Our Beliefs
We believe:
- In One God
- In Three Persons (Father, Son and Spirit)
- That he created the world and everything in it
- That humanity messed things up and the relationship between creator and creation got ruined because of our rebelion (we call that sin)
- That God is good and just
- That God the father to restore the relationship that was broken sent his son Jesus to die on a cross, taking the penalty for our sin
- That after being dead in the grave for three days Jesus rose to life and later on ascended to heaven
- That one day Jesus will return
- That if you acknoledge Jesus as Lord and Saviour of your life you will be saved
- That at the end of time there will be a final judgement where those who have not accepted Jesus will perish and thoose who have trusted in him will live with him forever in a beautiful eternity
Our beliefs on the nature of humanity:
We believe
- God created humans in his likeness.
- That God created humans both male and female
- That humans have inherent dignity from being created in the image of God
Our beliefs on Salvation:
We agree with the statement made by the appostle Paul, that we are saved by Grace, through faith and not by our works. That it is our trust and reliance on what God has done that saves us, not relying on our own efforts. We also however believe that true faith and salvation leads to a changed life which will result in a Godly desire to do the good works which God has prepared for each of us to.

Our beliefs on Baptims:
Jesus instructed his disciples to baptise people in the name of the father, son and holy spirit. So that's what we do. We believe when Jesus instructed this he had in mind the kind of baptisms that his disciples and John the baptist practised where people were fully (as the greek defintion of the word itself implies) immersed. Baptism is not a requirement for salvation but is the public declaration of a changed heart and an act of submition and obideince to what Jesus has asked of us.
