Curriculum
We are primarily an English speaking Nursery, however we do encourage simple Welsh language songs and cultural activities.
Every aspect of the Children’s play/learning falls inside The Foundation Phase. A range of activities suitable for pre-school children will be offered. There are seven main areas to encourage and develop each child’s learning process:
Personal and social development, well-being and cultural diversity.
Language, literacy and communication skills.
Mathematical development.
Physical development.
Creative skills.
Knowledge and understanding of the World.
Welsh language development.
We follow a broad based curriculum. Each child is encouraged to participate in five or six activities each morning based around these areas of learning.
